accumulating features

okay so i was about to make another post about finally getting the data collection working (which i will do promptly after this)

what i need to do before that is finally streamline the process of making a new blog post because right now it is really annoying. i need to create a template file and then have a python script or something that generates a new blog post.

also, i love this markdown format but i worry about performance in the long term and the payload and such. there are so many easier ways to do what im trying to do with this blog thing.

i think i should also create this ideas page where i can put the roadmap for my website on there and let people put suggestions on it as well. there are so many improvements i can make to this website but im just adding features and along with it technical debt. this is a small project, imagine what happens in large scale projects.
