next-buttons

okay so building off of yesterday, i think there should be a next and previous button on the page. so let’s see if i can add that.

actually i change my mind. the next and previous button will require some refactoring. right now, each page is generated from a markdown file and is static. nothing is really “passed into the page” as a prop. because of this, if i want to achieve this next and previous button on each blog post, i have to create a layout that is aware of the previous and next blog posts. maybe im missing something though.

anyway, i did some research on another part of this website— i want to create a page that is an infinite canvas of my lifes memories and a show of all the beautiful people and things in my life. i was debating where to store the files and i found some cheap options like amazon s3 and cloudflare r2. but i already have integrations for firebase written. ill just use firestore until it doesnt make economic sense to do so. and im quite literally a lifetime of pictures away from that.
